The Royal Navy and The Royal Marines

In 1966 Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II graciously approved the award of the Queen's Medal for shooting in the Royal Navy and Royal Marines.

The medal is awarded to the Champion Shot at the conclusion of the Royal Navy Small Arms Meeting held annually on the National Rifle Ranges, Bisley, Surrey.

The Match consists of a series of combat shooting matches encompassing attack, defense, FIBUA and close quarter battle shooting scenarios.
